Scaffolding solutions are planned and delivered in accordance with recognised industry guidance, including TG20, where applicable.
Where system scaffolding is used, designs, erection and use are carried out in line with the manufacturer’s guidance and project-specific requirements.
However, where a scaffold falls outside standard guidance, a site-specific design will be arranged where required. This ensures compliance while maintaining practical and safe access solutions.
Scaffold inspections are carried out in line with statutory requirements.
Where agreed in writing, inspections can be undertaken by a competent person and recorded accordingly. Unless otherwise agreed, responsibility for arranging and maintaining ongoing inspection regimes remains with the duty holder, in accordance with the Work at Height Regulations.
Inspection responsibilities, frequencies and records are determined as part of the agreed scope of works, and inspection records can be made available where required.
As a result, safe systems of work are established before works commence.
Y81 Scaffolding Services holds appropriate levels of:

No two sites are the same. Therefore, scaffolding solutions are designed to suit:
• The structure and access requirements
• Site constraints and surrounding environment
• Programme and sequencing of works
This approach ensures safe, practical and compliant access without relying on a one-size-fits-all solution.
We regularly review our procedures and working practices to ensure ongoing compliance with legislation, industry guidance and evolving site requirements.
